Trade Show Giveaways |
 |
We have just received 4'800 trade show giveaways purchased from Switzerland. They are small, self-adhesive clips that allow a piece of paper to be held in place on a vertical surface, for example in an office cubicle or on the frame of a computer monitor. Shown in the picture with a penny for scale.
The fascinating feature is that there are no moving parts (such as springs) - the paper is held and released by small soft plastic dots inside the clip.
We hope that they will be popular with show visitors throughout the year, and will be used in the offices of many potential customers, reminding them of RepExact (and our principals, of course).

Product Preview submitted to MD&M West:
"RepExact announces North American representation of Galley Technologies of Switzerland, an engineering consulting firm specializing in automation safety. Their clients include Rolex and Johnson & Johnson.
A new CE directive takes effect on December 29, 2009, in which the manufacturer or its representative (i.e. the entity accepting liability for compliance) must be located in the EC. Though not an EC member state, Switzerland participates in the CE certification system and is an acceptable location.
Galley Technologies helps North American manufacturers of automated production equipment transition to the new directive, with simple re-certifications performed for a low fixed price."

Web site Update |
 |
Both the principal and customer web sites have been significantly upgraded with improved graphics and new content (including this page).
Also, December has been our best month ever for web hits, largely due to the MD&M West exhibitor listings (devicelink). Our extra $500 investment in an enhanced media presence in the listings (Spotlight) appears to be effective. See screen shot above from our web traffic tracking system.

Booth Light Control |
 |
|
The above picture shows both sides of a stand holding the controllers for the booth lighting. The dimmers are controlled by a laptop computer running presentation software. As the presentation focuses on principals and products, the appropriate logos and displays can be made to brighten or blink.

Trade Show Booth |
 |
 |
On Friday, December 19, 2008 our new trade show exhibit was unveiled. At least through BIOMEDDevice Boston in April 09, we will only use the left half as a 10'x10'. The black space at left will be largely filled by the 52" flat screen TV. The empty wall spaces to the right will have light boxes for the RepExact header and principal logos.
The display stand in the foreground (one of four) has 3 illuminated shelves for displaying product samples, plus literature racks on the front. There will be a glass cover over the displays.
At right is a picture of the small café table and bar stools. The larger booth will have a larger, oval table (visible in the background of the left-hand picture).
